The Lost Arts Series: Making Kombucha

We will be learning and making Kombucha, a fermented probiotic beverage. You will learn the history and uses, and you will get the opportunity to taste the different stages of fermentation. Everyone will leave with a pint of mature kombucha scoby and instructions on how to care for it.

About the event

Kombucha is a fermented tea rich in probiotics, antioxidants, and organic acids that support gut health, boost the immune system, and reduce inflammation.


  • You will learn how to make kombucha.

  • You will get to try kombucha at different stages of fermentation to see which you like best for making your own.

  • You will leave with a pint of scoby.

  • You will leave with instructions to keep kombucha on going (feeding).


Tickets are $25. Bring a journal for extra notes.
