About the event
This 6-part series is perfect for budding herbalists, or those who want to learn about the healing magic of plants!Â
Join us as we discuss the foundations of herbal medicine including:
- History and practice around the world
- Anatomy with herbal medicine
- Phytochemistry and toxicology
- Constituents and Energetics
- Herbal preparations
- Identification, harvesting, and ethnobotany
- Daily herbal integration and recipes
- Conducting quality research and educational resources
We will also indulge our senses with sensory exploration and prepare formulations of herbs where students will get hands-on experience with identification and organoleptic exploration. Bring a notebook and pencil to take notes. Handouts will be included.
This class is part of a 6-part series open to all levels of knowledge. Suggested starting age is 10.Â

The fee for this series is $111. If you would like to just purchase one class at a time, you may do that in the store for $20.
